My two sons are both colorblind. I purchased these glasses for a gift for them. They put them on and my oldest son was amazed and wore them constantly. He was asking what color different items were. He put them on with mild teenage interest, and I wasn't sure what to expect, and I had placed some brightly colored objects for him to look at. What blew his mind the most was a simple pop bottle. One side was pink and one side was light blue. He kept taking the glasses off to look at the bottle, then putting them back on and saying 'Oh my gosh, wow, it's so different." He kept insisting I try on the glasses, but all I see is a pale pink tint. We went out in the yard and he saw red flowers for the first time. He said the bright colors made a big difference, duller shades didn't spark as much of a reaction. But overall, he was thrilled with the glasses. I got these for my Dad for Father's Day.
Since it was a surprise, I didn't have him do the tests.
He really loves them though, but I don't think they helped him on the color.
He just likes them for their shape, durabiliity, & mirrored lens.
